We carry out Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Tests (CVRT) to all commercial vehicles including vans, jeeps, trucks, trailers, buses with more than eight passenger seats and ambulances, all over one year old.

Motor caravan’s test is due when the vehicle is four years old, i.e. from the fourth anniversary of first registration. After that it must be tested every two years until its 10 years old. Annual testing is required after the 10th anniversary.

Fast tractor’s test is also due when the vehicle is four years old, i.e. from the fourth anniversary of first registration. After that it must be tested every two years.

Even if you don’t use your vehicle commercially or if it’s taxed privately, your commercial vehicle still needs a Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness test, not an NCT.

Vintage vehicles first registered before 1 January 1980 which are being used solely for non-commercial purposes do not need roadworthiness testing.

Vehicles registered after 1 January 1980 but over 30 years old which are being used solely for non-commercial purposes must undergo compulsory roadworthiness testing every two years  instead of annually.

NSAI (National Standards Association of Ireland) approved Analogue and Digital Tachograph workshop offering Tachograph calibrations, installations, replacements, reseals and repairs. We can also provide other tachograph additions like download keys, storage keys, tachograph rolls, tachograph charts etc.

Approved by NSAI (National Standards Association of Ireland) our Speedlimiter Workshop is offering Speedlimiter Plaques to all commercial vehicles that are over 3500 kg Design Gross Vehicle Weight.

A speedlimiter is required on the following vehicles:

• First registered on or after 1st January 1988
  • (a)Goods vehicles are exceeding a GVW of 12,000 kgs.
  • (b) Passenger vehicles exceeding a GVW of 10,000 kgs with passenger accommodation for more than 8 passengers (not including driver’s seat).
• First registered on or after 1st January 2005
  • (a) Goods vehicles exceeding a GVW of 3,500 kgs.
  • (b) Passenger vehicles not exceeding a GVW of 10,000 kgs with more than 8 passenger seats (not including driver’s seat).

As an Approved NSAI (National Standards Association of Ireland) Workshop we assign and inscribe weights and dimensions onto the Authorisation Plates and fit the plates to Passenger and Goods vehicles as per EU and National legislation.

We provide servicing and repairs to all makes and models of cars, vans, jeeps and small trucks on site.
